“Lovely little hometown place. They have Hunt Brother's Pizza franchise but they also have some home cooked food that smells better. Staffed by people who care because it's their place and not a massive corporate entity where they draw a paycheck. (Which is fine, and I have had great service at places like that, but there is a difference.) I showed up mid afternoon when the place was empty and just ordered a quarter of a pizza. The cashier made it for me just like I was a party of twelve and we all wanted a whole pizza, in other words, quickly and with genuine courtesy. I don't get over this way very often but if I do I'll stop by again for sure, and you should do the same. You'll be glad you did!”

“Driving through hauling a load, decided to take a pit stop and grab a bite to eat. I am not lying when tell you this was one of the best home-cooked plate lunches I've had in a good while. I had the chicken fried steak with cabbage and mashed potatoes with fresh baked rolls. Everyone was very friendly, and I would stop there again.”

“Love this place even when the order is wrong or incomplete! We can eat there for less than most of the fast food places we have in this town. Just be sure to check your order BEFORE you leave to make sure everything you ordered is there as I always forget to check and usually have items missing when I get home and open the boxes. Although they offer to make it right when I call with what's missing its the inconvenience of having to go back right then but they have always made it right on my next order.”

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, but there are not quite enough of them. The prices are quite low and the kitchen gets everything out very quickly. If you're in Vicksburg, or just passing through... This location is a must... There is also one in Oak Grove, Louisiana of all places.”

“Food was good but left a little ti be desired, it's a not a self serve buffet. They serve you. You get 1 meat/main, 2 side items, roll or hush puppies, a drink and dessert. They offer a salad bar, but its extra, unless you substitute a side item for a salad. Price for portion sizes is a bit too much. The waitresses do a good job of asking if your need a refill on your drink and bring your dessert if you forget to pick it up. I would recommend this place to anyone if you're in a hurry and dont want to wait for your to order your food. But i wish they would give a little more vegetables on your plate!!”
