“Delicious red eye and salted carmel cookie. I was just passing through the area, and this place came up on the map when I wanted coffee. It's part of The Myrtles, an old plantation cum hotel/restaurant (with gift shop and coffee place). I'm not one for plantation tourism or ghost tours, but the coffee was genuinely very good. Side note: If you're going to go, be careful on the driveway. It's a bit narrow, and people aren't careful.”

“Great choice for breakfast or lunch in downtown Hammond. I usually order the Caliente with a side of chorizo. Put that in between those nice fried tortillas with a little Tapatio and you have a great meal. Service varies. Once when I was in service dropped off sharply while they were busy, but when I catch them between rushes service tends to be really good. Food is good and I think the prices are reasonable so this is a staple of ours for weekend brunch.”

“What a fun find! Super busy when we went, but found some outside space to accommodate 11 of us. I ordered the flight of coffee which was so fun and a great idea! I personally loved the coconut because the whipped cream was amazing, but overall the crowd we were with thought the cinnamon roll flavor was the best. I ordered the Mediterranean toast and it was so well done not one thing overpowered another, I would eat that daily! We also got a Chocolate chip cookie that was gooey and crispy at the same time. I heard the breakfast sandwich with sausage was super memorable too! I can't wait to come back!”

My order was correct...nice and hot...Starbucks is Not a "have your way" sooo stick to the menu...all sandwiches are pre-made. I did enjoy the croissant with bacon,eggs and cheese... The wait was longer than expected but not irritatingly long ( unless your fuse short). All and all, I will be returning...every diva must have a coffeshop in her repertoire. 😍”

“Stopped by this place yesterday for a quick bite. This place is delightful?!? Staff was super sweet and accommodating. I got the waffle (see photo) it was amazing. My girlfriend got the burger and we both devoured our meals. Blackberry lemonade was on point and super tart if you are into that sort of thing. Parking along the front, I can see where depending on the time of day it could get busy but it didn't seem to be an issue when I went after lunch time. “The owner went out of his way to serve coffee for our visit. We had such an enjoyable and memorable time. I LOVED the cappuccino, my husband enjoyed his Lemon Ginger Tea, my niece and her friends enjoyed their made to order teas and coffees too. However, where I have to give kudos is to the sweet barista that was working with grace under pressure. She was the only one there and managing walk-in and drive through orders by herself.
