“Another great experience, and hopefully, this spot stays like this, 1. Consistency for a local this is key 2. Understanding, to not have to repeat the order 5 times is very convenient 3. Speed no one likes to wait. These 3 key factors make a great coffee shop. This is the second time I come , if the third experience is the same then this will be my go to.”

“I really like supporting local businesses. This PJs really made me happy. Sooooo happy I stopped in for a hot mocha. The ladies greeted me with a smile and had outstanding customer service. Anytime I'm in the area(or you are) I'll def stop in for a smile and coffee.”

“This place has excellent food but their kitchen always opens way later than they intend to. All you can get in the early hours is drinks. I've come here for their great food multiple times and been told the cook is late again, come back later. The bartenders are excellently lovely though, I love this spot overall, they just need to get their kitchen situation straightened out.”

“Love the aesthetic of the place plus there’s tons of vendors with lots of different cuisines to try. There’s something here for everyone! I tried the Indian food from Everything Spice and was seriously impressed. I also enjoyed happy hour at the Mayhaw which is every weekday from 4-6pm and select craft cocktails & wines are $7! There’s quite a bit of seating inside and outside and it was fairly easy to park nearby. I will definitely be back!”

“I went here for breakfast with family and we all loved our food. Everything we got was delicious. I got the banana French toast which was really good, the best I’ve had in a while. The hot sausage po boy was the perfect savory addition along with the crawfish omelette and shrimp and grits. I don’t know how describe the sauce with the crawfish but it was the tastiest thing I’ve had in New Orleans! Definitely would go back!”

“Absolutely phenomenally food! The rainbow bowl was so delicious and all I did the entire time was try to imagine how I can recreate it at home. I know it won’t be as good! This is a fantastic spot for anyone who’s health-conscious, but is a total unicorn for vegans and WFPB eaters. Do not miss The Daily Beet on your next trip to NOLA.”

“Best 🍤 Shrimp and Grits I've ever had! The gouda grits were 🤯 spectacular! The 🥓 Bacon, 🍳egg, and 🧀 cheese was huge and the biscuit was homemade melt in your mouth delicious! A must try! ♥️”

“Let me tell you this is the best burger I EVER had and I’ve had some great burgers! It was fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor 😋I cannot rave enough about it enough like seriously someone get me a mascot costume at this point cause I’m telling everybody!! The fries…a moment of silence for the fries… *moment of silence* so freaking good. They were seasoned, crispy, and fresh baby the potato’s were potato’ing! It was so good I went back and ordered more for my coworkers. I don’t know what type of Midas hands they have in the kitchen but they are doing what needs to be done then exceeding that. Try it cause you’re definitely missing out!”

“I am so happy my husband and I stopped in for breakfast! This adorable spot has some of the tastiest and freshest ingredients and dishes! The beverage menu is vast and even the coffee tastes made to order! My husband had the red velvet waffles and I ordered the Croque Madame! I was so pleased with the quality and the flavors! I only wished we lived closer because Scrambled would easily become a weekly favorite!!”

“Truly one of the best local coffee shops in the city. The owners and baristas are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They are always more than happy to allow our two large dogs in with open arms and treats. The coffee is phenomenal and easily one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. I also highly recommend their “spiced” cold brew on a hot day. With the new renovation and outdoor patio in back, this a perfect spot to stop in to warm up or cool off with great coffee and even better service. Also, do not sleep on their excellent breakfast burrito.”

“PJ's coffee is one of the best roasters in New Orleans, with many locations throughout the city and region. This particular store on Magazine Street is always clean, staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The courtyard is a truly peaceful spot, with beautiful alcoves equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture to enjoy coffee with friends, or read/study in. Inside, the store features several lounge-style rooms with cafe tables and couches. Overall it is generally a quiet and upscale coffee shop, while much less expensive than many national chain coffee shops.”

“Seven years ago, while in NOLA, my husband and I visited Piccola Gelateria and what a gelato, to die for. I think I tasted three different flavors and had afogato coffe with hazelnut ice cream. This is the best gelato I ever had. I had gelato many times in Italy, but none of those came even close to gelato at Ria’s. This year we went to New Orleans for a wedding, so I planned in advance a visit with my friends to this place, which is now located on Magazine Street. We Ubered there and the gelato was so yummy and the location is just perfect. It was seven of us and we all tried many different flavors and truly enjoyed it. The special treat we received from Ria was a pumpkin flavored gelato , how perfect, it was a Halloween weekend, and we all truly savored it. We Will be back 😋”

“I was in New Orleans for a work meeting. On the day I was leaving. I saw this great little spot down the street from me. It's a really well designed outside and inside space. It's so welcoming green and with simple but tasteful decorations. It's very unique and authentic and how the furniture and art and architecture has been designed for the space. The food is well thought out, diverse and fresh. There's something for everybody. The coffee is delicious and well selected. The staff are so friendly and efficient.”

“I buy coffee at the drive-thru. The problem with this location is that the drive-thru attendant, regardless of which employee it is, always smiles and says would you like to leave a tip? It's embarrassing and I feel pressured. I don't feel like drive-thru should be asking for tips. It makes my purchase awkward. I've stopped going to this location because of it. Yes I know I could say no, which I never do, because I feel pressured.”

“I was thankful there was food at the zoo. However it's super chaotic when ordering food. My family ordered a few entrees and split them up. The chicken tenders and fries were good when they were hot. The pizza was not good in my opinion. The bacon cheeseburger was so-so. The prices were reasonable. We could have had better food somewheres else though. They do have a few healthier options such as some salad and a Turkey and swiss wrap. They also had a Turkey or ham sandwich. If we ever go back we will plan on bringing our own sandwiches or eating before or after. I gave 3 stars because despite the chaos my family got to eat when they were hungry.”

“Went to District today and tried the fried chicken sandwich. Chicken was fried perfectly, not over cooked. The bun was fresh and it was topped with just enough slaw to drip on your fingers but not need utensils. Best chicken sandwich ever. I love this neighborhood location. Staff is friendly and even though they were busy the food was quick. Keep up the good work guys!”

“Best grits and beignets I've had in New Orleans. The staff are super friendly/helpful and you know there is no corner cutting when it comes to the quality of the food. Always a delight, especially on a warm day when you can sit outside under one of the umbrellas! Highly recommend”
