99 Restaurants

Took my mom there when I was in town in Auburn visiting. She raves about it. I had the salad with steak. Yummy. Mom had the special pork steak. Service was good and the bill was very reasonable. If you haven't been yet, check it out.

Outstanding experience at THIS 99!! Haven't been here in years - service was exceptional! We enjoyed VERY flavorful, perfectly cooked sirloin and prime rib!! The waiter was extremely prompt, courteous and made us feel at home! We were even able to buy a beer for a Veteran and his wife who we saw at the bar, without them knowing!
Your Manager, Steve Dubuc was outstanding and a pleasure to speak with, he came and asked us how everything was, and the attention was a true pleasure for a dining experience.

We will make a point to come back to THIS 99 again!

Typical of a 99 restaurant. Service here was good, waitress was attentive and helpful. Food arrived quickly and hot. If you want a good meal and like 99's fare you won't be disappointed with the Auburn location.

I was very surprised at the quality food presented at this restaurant. I had a mushroom steak and it was actually cooked the way I wanted. It had great flavor. I even complimented the cook while there it was that good. Note I don't know if the other food would knock my socks off but this steak did. I will return if for no other reason but to see if they can repeat the experience. A nice surprise.

One of the many reasons to love Maine is it's great variety of locally owned restaurants and food. But if in a pinch or a hurry, I know I can saddle up to the bar (that has a limited selection but some local taps and their own house IPA) for a quick beer and decent lunch. Even the fries, though frozen, make an attempt to seem freshly made. I feel like 99 is trying to be a better restaurant, kinda like Wendy's in fast food. Their chicken tenders are decent for a chain restaurant; so there it is or I am.
