This has become my favorite place in Brunswick, so last visit I asked the owner about his story. The Chef/Owner is an old pro from Portland restaurants(Eventide & Scales), and Maine Street Steak & Oyster features some of the finest local ingredients Maine has to offer.

(May 2, 2020, 10:48 pm)The fried oyster rolls were excellent and served on their own homemade roll. Then washed it down with a couple ice cold Allagash beers. Thanks for keeping your doors open. Will definitely be back!

(May 2, 2020, 10:37 pm)My family and I were able to get take out during the pandemic, and the food was excellent! Everything is homemade with great flavor. Recommend the buffalo brussel sprouts and the fried oyster roll!

(February 2, 2020, 4:02 pm)A great new addition to downtown Brunswick! Just as the name suggests, this is the place for a quality steak and fresh, cold oysters on the half shell. My favorite dish was the fried oysters accompanied with homemade tartar sauce and slaw. The tall ceiling and simple, but classic seaside decor make for a nice ambience. I wait to return next time I’m in town!
