Pepper's Landing

Still on the fence about this place. Have eaten here twice. I love the atmosphere and I absolutely love the decor and the staff are always friendly. The only issue is with the food not being cooked long enough and having to send it back to be cooked for longer. No issues with having to send it back and they were very cooperative about it. I'll give it another shot here in a few weeks.

Excellent seafood lunch, great atmosphere, at average prices. My father, son, and I came in for lunch, ordering the lobster and shrimp chowder, crab roll, fried scallops, and a kid's grilled cheese. The chowder was very hot, needed some blowing, but absolutely delicious. My father said the scallops were exactly how he liked, not too much batter and tender inside. My crab roll was excellent, no shell or cartilage, very fresh tasting. Great fries and sweet potato fries. They were great for my 3 year old, and his kids meal and crayons kept him engaged, even got a toy at the end.

The place is really neat. The people are nice. The inside is comfortable. The music is not loud like some places. The food was good. I do hate to say, I myself, like some type of herb or something like that, on the seafood. It was a little bland. But do not get me wrong. I love this place.. i think the best of all is the peanut butter pie. It is to die for.. it is a good place to eat with a friend or family. I can not say about children, because I did not see any. If you want to try it, I say go for it. There is a lot of parking, and it is for free. There is a place outside for you to sit at if you like to do that.

Awesome spot! Great, fresh seafood (we had halibut tacos, pan seared shrimp platter, and fried scallop platter with High cheesecake) portions were generous (great prices!); expansive menu; friendly staff; clean restaurant with nice decor. Will be back again! Also, French fries were some of the best I've had in a long time!
