The Great Impasta

Great little traditional Italian restaurant in downtown Brunswick. Pasta dishes are very good to amazing. Salads served with meals are very well done with anti pasta components and fresh multi type quality lettuce. Garlic knot bread served with meals is very tasty and makes the meal. Several seafood pasta dishes available. Above average wine selection with a nice beer selection. Highly recommend eating here for a great dinner.

The food here is amazing!! The staff is attentive and friendly. This is my new favorite restaurant. Only downfall (which is just me and does NOT take from the restaurant at all) is the seating is SO uncomfortable. 10 stars for this restaurant otherwise!!????

Outdoor dining in the shade and the cuisine is like a visit to a family trattoria in an Italian village off the beaten path.
The waitstaff that always greets us is topnotch!
I often order the pumpkin or squash ravioli with asparagus when available. Also I highly recommend the Alisa salad as an upgrade to the salad that comes with dinner. The dressing and the beets are delish!!!

The main dishes were ok. Salads and bread very tasty. Would I recommend? Yes, if you have the urge for Italian.

How far would I drive out of my way to eat there? Not very far.

There were 9 people in our party and not one person considered their dish the best they have had. General consensus was that the food was ok well made, fair priced. As mentioned above the salads and bread really stood out.

The people very friendly and nice decor.

Ordered the Aglio.Oglio. Tasty but not as good as my mom used to make, however, meatballs tasted like my grandmothers. Individual salads and rolls were very good. Nice atmosphere.
