Beautiful place. Simple as that. Great shoreline, I could spend hours here. The Lobster Shack has a great view of the ocean outside. It is a bit touristy and the prices reflect that. BUT the lobster roll is simply amazing. Slighty sweet toasted bread meets big chunks of fresh lobster.

We found this place really by chance while we were visiting the surroundings. It was a real surprise!

You come here for the view mainly, which is truly amazing! The tables are right on the coast. You have some place inside the restaurant too.

We were there in September so we did not have trouble to find some place in the tables outside. Maybe in the summer the place is crowded.

The food was good, prices correct and service was very friendly. The chowder is made from scratch and was very tasty. The lobster roll was correct: bun grilled and a lot of lobster chunk meat. We even tried the blueberry pie and it was delicious! Warm with a hint of cinnamon ????

What can I say...Wow! We went on a particularly cloudy day and the view was still beautiful and the food--delicious. Don't miss the fried clams and onion rings! But best of all was the kind and patient waitstaff. What a crew! Can't wait to go back again next year.

We are traveling with our 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs and need to know that the restaurant is dog friendly. The Lobster Shack is as it has a huge section of picnic tables outside overlooking the ocean. Some have umbrellas, some do not. There is seating inside also but dogs are not allowed. Plenty of choices for food, all reasonably priced. The ocean views are phenomenal! Highly recommend!

Best clams ever. Spectacular lobster roll. Market price that day was $17.99 worth every penny. If you get shell shocked at the prices just incorporate the view and they don't seem all that bad. We got there at the perfect time. About 4:45. We walked right in and ordered. By the time our order was ready, there was easily 35 people in line. I would highly recommend this place. I'm so glad we found. After dinner, check out Two Lights State Park. It's an old WWII gun battery that they converted to a public park. Awesome views, great cliffs, fire pits for grilling! $7 to park for out of state plates. Sound investment.
