Tuscan Brick Oven Bistro

We really enjoyed everything about our dinner. We sat at the bar. Everyone was friendly, service was very good. Calamari was the best we’ve ever had, & we get it different places frequently. The special was lamb meatloaf, mashed potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts with onion with a fantastic gravy. Great open atmosphere. We’ll definitely go back when in town.

One of my favorites. What a great restaurant. Interesting decor and menu choices. Private parking that somehow always seems to have free spaces...

1st visit. Impressive interior-

we began to get excited!

Immediately seated. Friendly
Waitress hands us menu. Wow.
What a menu. All kinds of tempting dishes. Again, a sophisticated
selection, above and beyond the
usual.

I ask “ Is there a real Italian in the kitchen?” (So essential!!!) Yes!
Aha, I had “felt” the real thing
(persons) had to be lurking behind
the scene

We made simple choices for lunch.
A real meal will have to wait. We had
Caesar salad (w/anchovies) and a gorgeous tasty Fennel pizza. The
crust alone to die for. Best pizza
in years and they offer others——.

So today I’ve started passing the
Word about this treat in Maine!!!
A greatly needed Restaurant with
style and quality to please.

The pizza was outstanding the wait for the food was super long. So long that the waiter let us have our apetizers at no charge. So if you have lots of time and a big wallet this place has some amazing food flavors and would be worth a visit.

I only gives this place a three star because twice they have made mistakes on reservations. Fortunately we still got a table but we were just lucky. The food is good and the service is good but they need to fix their reservation system. We even called to confirm but it did little good. Just a heads up.
