Everything about this place is fantastic. Great selection of spirits. Innovative drink list with bartenders who are happy to go off menu. The staff was upbeat and engaging. Can’t wait to go back.
We had the Chicken Curry, the Mushroom Toast, and the half dozen Oysters. All were exceptional. Ashley was super helpful and a very friendly server. Our drinks were wonderful as well. I recommend the smoked old fashioned.
Found this gem on my Quick tour of Portland restaurant hopping. Quaint and charming with a high-end essence yet wonderfully friendly and charming staff. Great selection of bourbon along with other cocktails and wine. However, the aura of the style and lighting definitely gave me a bourbon feel. I sat at the top bar and settled in for some mushroom toast app as perused the drink list and opting for a smoked bourbon creation of their own. It was delicious! Served with an impeccable large ice block with their logo freshly stamped into the top. The drink was served with half poured into the glass in front of me and the other half left for me for me inside a smoked and corked bottle to indulge upon when I felt ready.
Thanks B & B - great stop for food, cocktail and atmosphere. Look
Forward to sharing with others.
Possibly some of the very best cocktails I have ever had. Amazing flavors without being overwhelming, the clarified milk cocktails were delicious.
Also has wonderful oysters available and some food items but we only had oysters.
Make sure to arrive early before opening. They don’t have a lot of seating but love the decoration and vibe. Friendly bartenders with great recommendations seal the deal.
Highly recommend.
The atmosphere and drinks are perhaps the best aspect of this cocktail bar. The food however seems to be mediocre and overpriced. The poutine is 12 but only comes with 4 pieces and some curd drowned in gravy. The prices were so water logged that I could not kick it up with hand or fork without it just disintegrating. The fish cakes were yummy and crispy but 10$ for 3 thin cakes make it more expensive than the oysters at eventide. The service probably their saving grace and our waitress checked on us multiple times during our time there.
