Every time my husband and I are in Portland we make it a point to come here. Excellent food and service. The decor is SO cool. Love the space upstairs.

Loved everything about this place! Really friendly staff, delicious margaritas, tasty food, and beautiful décor! This is definitely one of the best spots for Mexican food in the Portland area. Cant wait to go back!

I visited for the first time a few months ago, and I was impressed. From the unique decor that pulls your eyes around the room, to the "hole in the wall" feel, this was definitely a place I'll go to again. Food is very good (as expected for a small shop like this) but for me, the key is the customer service. Although they have a slim crew on (due to winter I'm guessing) they are excellent. They were approachable and opportunistic to help me find something I'll love. They also made mention that they like to experiment with recipes and see what customers like so they can better the experience. That is service that stands out to me and I appreciate.

Delicious, authentic, and seasoned with a family recipe, the shrimp bowl leaves me fully satisfied. Slaw, large seasoned shrimp, rice, a heaping helping of thick guacamole and a sprinkling of other garnishing. This is a lunch I look forward to, when going to the office. The upstairs décor is very funky, with a wall of gold skulls and chairs with owner-made South American weaving for the backs.

Excellent food and a great environment. Definitely check out the seating area upstairs. It’s a perfect place to have some drinks and relax after exploring the Old Port.
