Bob's Clam Hut Portland

I read up on this Restaurant prior to visiting Maine. We decided this is where we will be having lunch since we were in the area. As we walk into the restaurant I saw that we were the only ones there since it was very early. A very nice gentle man having a pancake breakfast, another young man in the kitchen, and a beautiful young lady behind the cash register. I said I hope this restaurant live up to its rating and smile. They smile. We order our food and I asked my 3 yrs old grand daughter what she would like to eat. She said "pancake". I said to her honey they don't sell pancake here. The young man in the kitchen over heard me and stated " I have some batter left over I could make her some Pancakes". I could not believe my ears. Our food came out and everything look amazing, the lobster salad was delicious, the fish and chips and fish taco look so fresh. I would recommend this place to everyone. The people are very friendly and attentive. You will not regret visiting this place. AAA+++

Best lobster roll in Maine! Onion rings are excellent and they make the tastiest tartar sauce I've ever had. If you don't try anything else besides the fried whole belly clams, be sure to order the fried lobster tails - there are no words to describe the deliciousness. So happy Bob's Clam Hut is located in Portland, Maine now. Do not forget, they are always closed on Tuesdays.

Best friend clams I've ever had!!! Great service. Nothing fancy but solid food! 17.50 for Clam dinner. Great portion though!

Ordered the clam strip basket and jumbo lobster roll to go. They were both tasty but would have preferred more clam strips and lobster than french fries. They forgot to include napkins in the bag and ketchup. Online ordering was not working.

The friendliest staff ever! Very good quick service food. They are constantly running great specials. Clean interior, nice patio when open. Highly recommended!
