Elsmere BBQ & Wood Grill

I'm a pescatarian and my husband eats meat. We haven't been able to find a BBQ place where I can find something I can eat (that isn't just a salad) in forever until we found Elsmere. They have food for all here (even vegan) and all of it is amazing! They have dishes that typically are not vegetarian or vegan that they've been able to make veg/vegan and still taste awesome. The BBQ meat dishes (from what others tell me) are second to none as well. They have it all! This is now one of our favorite places to go and I can have BBQ again!

Delicious food just wish some portions were bigger. Meats, fish, beans, slaw and cornbread were wonderful!

Pretty stellar food. If your child is picky this may be a pass, but as far as ribs, brisket, and pulled pork, this has a fairly reasonable price point for the serving size, and quality of food you get. I'll definitely go again, but I will go when there aren't so many kids screaming. It was incredibly loud. My 6 y/o was looking at the kids on awe. He knows he can't act like that.

We went on a Sunday night and it was busy, but not crazy. My husband ordered chili nachos for an appetizer and we both ordered the pulled pork sandwiches. The nachos came out with our meal instead of before, which created a bit of a full table for our meal. The waiter, while very pleasant, came over only three times, leaving us quite thirsty as we could have used refills on our drinks. The food is delicious! There was no gristle or fatty bits in our pulled pork. There was lots of it on the sandwich and it was wonderfully flavored. The nachos were also very tasty despite being a bit overcooked. We will definitely be back for another delicious meal.

Brisket not bad, good smoke ring. Sausage was pretty good, a different flavor than I'm usually familiar with. Cornbread nothing special. Cole slaw not on my repeat list, not a good rendering. Service good. I'll try the competition before a repeat visit, to see what's out there. Not disappointed, glad I tried.
