Pricier lobster joint that's well worth the dough.
Not a shack as the name suggests. Very nice indoor sea-themed area. Staff are very friendly and the food and beer choices are plentiful. I gave the umami lobster roll a shot and my wife went with the normal version. The umami lobster roll had a savory black truffle taste to it but I preferred what my wife had, which smelled/tasted like it was just basic lemon, butter, and dill... which was perfect. Rolls were buttery and toasted as well. They were so good my wife asked to order ANOTHER one to go... and did not share. At all.
Definitely worth the stop and definitely worth spending a premium for great food!
My sister and I got the best of both worlds when we ordered fish and chips and clam chowder. We asked for a second bowl to come with our clam chowder, and instead the waitress came out with both the clam chowder and the fish and chips in half-sizes for both of us! Our waitress was super friendly and the food was delicious
Fish stew was delicious very clean and fresh! Oysters were really good nice brine still left. Whole lobster was great and wife liked her lobster roll.
First time in the area and Lily was a delightful server. Lobster stew and shrimp cocktail was a 5 star along with the crab roll. The brown butter lobster roll wasn’t the best but was tasty, a solid 4.
The restaurant is clean and has a outdoor seating. The food arrived a bit late after we ordering it. The seafood is fresh and tasted okay. The prices are bit high. The customer service needs to be improved.
