A beautiful setting in both contemporary and traditional Maine on a gorgeous cobblestone street that will prime your tastebuds for this phenomenal restaurant. Once you make it past the feeling of the perfect atmosphere for any occasion, single or romantic, you will find a menu both simplistic and elegant. The wine list was outstanding, the oysters fresh and the staff attentiveness was superb. I had the yellow fin tuna, Moondance Oysters and left in complete culinary happiness. Definitely a star in the star studded foodie paradise city of Portland, ME!
Spectacular! This was the greatest seafood meal of my life. Everything was well cooked, the freshness of each item we had tasted like it was caught right before it was cooked. The garlic butter sauce was amazing, I wanted to drink it like soup. Beautiful meal.
I was expecting a 5 star meal but they only delivered 4 stars. We got an early sitting outside. We ordered few appetizers and blacked swordfish plus scallops. They probably had an off night. It took close to an hour to get food. They did offer us another appetizer on a house due to the long wait. Everything had too much salt and my scallops were over slightly cooked. Service was good.
Very tasty sea food choices, appetizers and desserts, and a good atmosphere. A good selection of wines...
The pasta diablo and mussels appetizer.... they were amazing.... so good. Now I understand why we had to wait an hour to eat there.
