Newscapes brewing

Service is amazing!! It’s very homey, the perks of it being in a home. I had the dark IPA and loved it. The pizza is really good too. Good size for one as a meal, or two can split it as a snack. Highly recommend!

Wow, what a cool place! The owner is amazing, and a treat to talk to. Not to mention the beer is great too. Newscapes Brewing carries a very home-y feeling that’s tough to describe, but an absolute joy to experience. Imagine that you have a buddy with a bar in his basement and he decided to brew his own beer and serve it to the locals. It’s a little bit like that, but cooler. And for as difficult as it is to put in to words the vibes that Newscapes totes, it’s harder yet to find another place in Portland that offers anything worth comparing it to. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend popping in for a beer. I know I will the next time I drive by!

Visited the brewery with friends as a "quick stop" to our next brewery. Ended up staying for several hours talking with owner and drinking some great beers (I only had a pale ale, but friends loved all the beers they tried) and eating some excellent pizza. He even made me an espresso since I was the designated driver. Everything about the place was great. It has the small brewery vibe and was not the least bit pretentious. We were visiting from Pittsburgh, but by the time we left, we felt like locals. The locals that visited were all so friendly and of all the breweries we visited during our trip, we all thought we had the best time at Newscapes. If we're ever in Portland again, Newscapes will be at the top of our lislt.

This is a great little brewery that could. The owner has a great story for getting the brewery going. There are tasty homemade beers on tap, the personal pizzas slap, and the vibes are unmatched for the area. So nice to have a brew house in the neighborhood with a comfortable hometown feel. Don't sleep on Newscapes!

Yo come spend time here. The dude who runs it treats everyone like family. He’ll pull the pizza out the oven to show you and ask if he should put it back in for longer. The pizza was surprisingly good. There’s a hot tub in the front. I dono if that’s part of the business but it is compelling.
