Starbucks

Starbucks are mostly the same, but this one really has great people working behind the counter. I live nearby and my daughter and I stop in often for a treat. The staff here had gotten to know my little toddler and always make her feel very special by giving her a hearty greeting and asking her about her day, etc. It's much appreciated. Starbucks is obviously a mega corporation, but when the people working there are friendly and community minded it makes it feel like an earned part of our town.

It's fine. didn't love that the barista had an in-depth review of their ink sleeve with a customer and then, unwashed, handled my drink cup and lid. Seemed out of touch with Covid life.

This is the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to. With the state of the world, it’s hard to feel comfortable in most situations but the baristas were an absolute delight. They were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. I’ve never experienced such good customer service in a coffee shop. I took a picture of their names on the board specifically so I could remember to give these people praise: Julian, Jordon, Parker, Ronnie, Morgan and Jade - thank you!

They will provide a face mask if you forget yours

Starbucks on Commercial Street in Portland is a great Starbucks location. I really liked the convenience of the location as it is in the middle of everything and easy to get to by walking and quick to get in and out. The service here was excellent as the line kept moving very efficiently and orders were taken care of with speed. I was impressed at how the team here worked together to accomplish everything and did it in a friendly and fun way that brought a smile to my face. I also really like the vibe and feel of the Starbucks as it has plenty of natural light and cool little extras like the free coffee grounds for your garden. Overall this was a great experience and it provided everyone with exactly what they needed.
