All in all a great experience. The small portions were great, you really get to try a lot of different, excellent plates. The rum punch for two was a welcome addition to our dinner. We were lucky enough to sit at the bar and watch all the chefs do their different jobs. Ended the meal with a tiramisu which was the star of the night!
I came here with a couple of colleagues on a weeknight. We were able to get seated immediately at the bar. Cocktails and food were fabulous. That being said, their menu can be found pretty eccentric by less adventurous eaters. I couldn’t easily identify some of the items in their food and asked for recommendations/guidance from our bartender who was also taking our food order. The bartender was very rude, short, and unhelpful. He also failed to mention any specials; we only found those out when we overheard a different bartender explaining the specials to guests sitting next to us. I ended up ordering with her the rest of the night because she provided much better service, and our original bartender basically abandoned us. Again - I definitely recommend coming here for the food/drinks, but the service experience we had was disappointing.
Beautiful dinner for my birthday, NYE. I didn’t love the broiled oyster appetizer and thought the cod was a little under cooked but other than that the food, drinks, and wine were amazing!! Highly recommend if you want to impress a lady friend ;)
We lucked out - walked in and got the last table in the place. Supper friendly people, delicious food, and inventive cocktails. So glad we were able to stop in!
A world class restaurant with outstanding seafood and inventive small plates. I never have raved about carrots, yet Central Provisions changed that for me. The dessert menu is equally as delicious as the main courses . The wine list is fantastic, with excellent choices from across the globe.
The bar downstairs is great if you need to wait for a table, as the restaurant doesn't take reservations.
There's a reason this restaurant appears on the best of lists. Brave the wait (especially during summer) and make this a must visit.
