Colonel's Restaurant

We stumbled upon this place on our way to hike Jordan's Pond. You walk into what seems like a local deli with fresh pastries, a selection of drinks, sodas and sandwiches. Just continue on to the back where you will walk past the bar full of what seems like locals and you are welcomed by a kind hostess who will take you even further back to a seating area either inside or out on their deck. The staff was friendly. The vibe was laid back. The food was not to die for but definitely good enough. Best of all, the price was reasonable. We had some homemade blueberry donuts to go and those were very delicious. All in all a good experience and a place I would visit again.

Nice price, friendly waitresses! I ordered a meal which came with a 1 1/4 pound lobster + soup + dessert, only $25 + tax ! Really good food!

I spent the Labor Day long weekend in Maine, and this is the best meal during that travel.

I had the lobster melt with the house chowder and onion rings. The onion rings are done with breading like clam strips, it was all very good. The only issue we had was a mix up with the hostess and waitress. No one knew who our waitress was, so we had no service for about 10 minutes, but once that was sorted the service was very fast.

This place is a hidden gem! From the front it looks like this tiny little bakery & deli, but go inside!!!!! The food is fantastic, the people were great and it was a really cool place. Everything we ate was fantastic, the service was great, the waiter was super friendly. Definitely try the Seafood Pizza it was 100% amazing! Don't miss it if your in Northeast Harbor.
