One of the first lobster places we went to, and it was perfect. It’s right on the water, so there is plenty of seating with a nice view of the boats docked. There are adorable lobster buoys hanging everywhere, adn a large case full of lobsters are right at the checkout waiting for you. You can even come and get lobsters to take home with you and cook. They have a full cocktail and beer menu to go with your food, and they had a lot of options (although you really should just be getting a lobster roll!) They did give us free refillable soft drinks- not sure if it was an accident or not, but we did drop over 100 bucks on food, so we thought it was a nice add-on they threw in. The place has a legit looking smell and vibe- it’s not flashy, showy or fancy, just a lobster place on the water, not pretentious, but still fun. The drinks are strong, the food is great, and the view is wonderful. I preferred eating here than any other lobster roll place we went to, and we went to a lot. Oh, and the bibs were fun to wear!
Beals lobster is by far the best Taste and service I’ve ever had at a seafood restaurant. You can pick your lobster at the front and they can recommend a size if you don’t know what you want. They also have other things besides lobster, like haddock, clams, and muscles. The lobster was perfect, and so was the experience!
We had dinner here 2 times in the last 4 days and we were blown away both times. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the lobster rolls were by far the best we had in the entire Bar Harbor area! We can't wait to come back next time we are in the area.
We found this restaurant in Google maps and were hoping it was what was described and shown because we wanted to experience eating a whole Maine lobster for the first time. They didn't disappoint! Incredible lobster cooked while you relax on the pier enjoying a cold beer. Everything was fantastic and delicious.
