(October 4, 2019, 2:27 am)The ambiance was nice tables had white linen table cloths and napkins. It was quiet,everyone in the restaurant kept their voices down. The food was very good though portions were small. Prices were in line with other restaurants in the area.
I did not stay in the hotel but what I saw of it looked as though it would be comfortable. The yard in back had croquet wickets set up ready for play. The back porch had several rocking chairs that have a nice view of Somes Sound. -
(September 26, 2019, 7:39 pm)The Claremont suited me perfectly. A lovely room with a magnificent view, and peaceful grounds. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the on-site restaurant and bar are excellent. It's a historic building, so keep that in mind, but for me, it was the most relaxing place I've stayed in decades!

(August 25, 2019, 9:35 pm)Very nice and quaint lodging. Clean. It grew on us the more we stayed. Staff is very friendly and accessible. Breakfest and its staff was very good as well

(August 12, 2019, 2:00 am)We had an amazing dinner at the "Boat House" at the Claremont Hotel. The service was great and the view of the harbor are outstanding. This is a hidden gem of Clark's point in Southeast Harbor. I would recommend the restaurant for a special dinner.
