Fine dining at its best! Food, service and ambience perfect. Went back again for a second night while on vacation. A Noreaster had knocked out power but they simply handled the situation with the same grace and outstanding experience. Highly recommended!

A special place for a special meal. Cozy atmosphere. Impeccable food and service. Daily featured wine is always excellent. We eat here every year on our annual trip to Mount Desert Island.

While the food was good, it was obvious they rushed us to get in and out asap. We got there when it opened, tried sit at bar but the chairs were somehow reserved. A rude local made sure we were aware. The hostess we had tried to be cordial but hustled us too much. All in all, from someone visiting 9 hours away, I would not go back. I'm hoping the other 2-3 restaurants in town won't be as inhospitable.

Our dinner at Red Sky was delicious and the service first-rate. Our salads, the beet and the sailor salads were made with fresh local organic greens, were well dressed ample portions made with care. Mussels were delicious as was the tomato-basil soup. My half organic chicken was excellent and so were the barbecue ribs. Our shared dessert, house made olive oil and lemon cake served with fresh Maine blueberries and cream, was great. Wine pairing was very good and the service was top notch. We enjoyed our dinner very much and will gladly return.
