“FRESH Lobsters at some GREAT prices! We were lookin' for soft shell Lobsters or what the locals call 'shedders'. We'd just heard a great recipe, on Maine local public radio, for grillin' these babies. So we were on a mission and this was THE perfect place to get us fresh yummy shellfish!! C.H. Rich is nothin' much to look at, but you're not there for the ambiance! So, don't be deterred by the run-down feel of the place. It's a working fishing warehouse with huge lobster tanks in the back. A true Maine experience ;o).”

“Oh My!!!! The buttered lobster roll was so tender and flavorful. The bun was so soft and fresh it melted in my mouth. It was pricey but better then a whole lobster I had at a high end restaurant. The onion rings were fresh made and delicious. He had the hot dog and he said the bun was toasted and perfectly done.”

“This place was amazing! The food was delicious. First, we all get a delicious homemade bread. Then we each got a plate, which also included a giant salad. The entrees themselves were mind blowing. It is amazing the ginormous quantity of quality seafood they put in one plate! It was so delicious, I am still drooling. They also have a nice terrace.”

“Hands down the best place for seafood near Acadia national Park. Was sent here by a local and will be coming back and recommending this place to everyone. Don't forget, you can't leave here without having dessert! It's homemade by the owner and the best. We don't normally do dessert but actually got to talking to the owner at the bar and she convinced us and we weren't disappointed. The rhubarb pie was spectacular (first time having rhubarb) ????”

“Amazing fresh food by the sea what's not to love? We ordered Joe's crab cakes, soft shell lobsters and plain dinners. Ofcourse beers too. The food is simply delicious. I don't know why it has 4.5 stars! Should be 5 all the way. The crab cakes were so meaty and delicious my 14 month old loved it. Would definitely go again if I'm around there.”

“Very friendly, family run. I had the most amazingly delicious swordfish...ever!!! Fresh off the boat. A bit of lemon & butter and it melted in my mouth. And if that wasn't enough, I went back and got a 4# lobster that they cooked to perfection!! They're picky about the fish they get and it shows. It's the only place I'll let my fish on Mt Desert island.”
