    We enjoy stopping here every so often. The food is good and it has a relaxing atmosphere.

    Haddock chowder for each of us: wonderful flavor, real butter, worth sponging up with a corner of the sandwich to get every drop. A California Panini for her, delicious; for me, the special of the day, a baked ham panini made with brie and sliced pears? apple?
    Mugs of good coffee: near the generic white mugs on the wall hang distinctive ones, favorites brought by regular customers, I'm guessing. Refills apparently free.
    Better than I'd remembered it, and well worth remembering for next year!

    The Olde Post Office is worth the trek. Situated in a lovingly restored quaint old building on a serene lakeside, it boasts a warm and cozy atmosphere. The star of the show is home baked bread and pastry but the menu also offers homemade soup and a variety of salads and sandwiches. I usually get one of their scrumptious paninis. Today it was veggie and smoked Gouda.
