Absolutely delicious! I love to try new dishes and have traveled quite a bit, but I have never come across food with this particular palette of flavors. A must-try! Can't wait to go back and try other dishes.

We got take-out tagine from here a month ago and enjoyed it so much that we decided to brave in-house dining with some friends from Vermont. The tables are all at least 6 feet apart. None of us were familiar with Togolese food and were wondering how a dish that contained four different meats could possibly form a cohesive whole. But everything was delicious. The service was attentive and friendly and Jordan, the chef/owner, came out to greet each table. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I went here to try something new. Were we ever impressed! The atmosphere was comfortable, tables were spread out, and the service was top notch. There was a small bar, as well with some very interesting house beverages. Then there was the food. Each course was better than the next! The flavor profiles were wonderfully complex and every bite was delicious. Jordan, the chef has the gift. I can't recommend enough!

MUST GO! My wife and I are just visiting from NYC so we're not knowledgeable on all of the best restaurants around mid-coast Maine. We've been to Fresh & Co, Nautilus, and a few others. After many nights of having lots of awesome new england seafood we were surprised to find a restaurant serving Togolese cuisine! I don't think we have that in NYC! We made 8pm reservations and showed up. Their $40 prix fixe menu was a no-brainer. The food was so good and plentiful that we needed takeout boxes! Mé Lon Togo is hands down in our top 5 restaurants in the Northeast US. Our server Matt and Jordan (owner) were very hospitable. I'll be back.

The best cioppino I've ever had. Not traditional and not overly brothy but full of amazing seafood and seasonings. The entire meal was characterized by pleasingly complex and deep flavors from rich and varied spices. Nice ambiance in a comfortable setting added to the experience. The service from Matt was excellent and the chef, Jordan, visited our table during the meal. A unique and worthy dining opportunity unlike anything else in the area.
