Boathouse Bistro Tapas Bar & Restaurant

Stopped in and wanted something light. OMG, the shrimp and grits were to die for, along with a nice side salad. Best I have had in a long time. And I was told the scallops & chowder were fantastic too.

This is one of my favorite stops when I come back yo visit (I grew up in the region). The portion sizes are perfect for a small bite and the cocktails are classic and generous. If you are heading to the rooftop bar on a sunny afternoon, be sure to bring a hat or some suntan lotion!

Outrageous food choices with a beautiful view. As a vegetarian, the multitude of vegetarian choices are greatly appreciated. The rest of my family had either lobster, salmon, and swordfish and the fish was fresh and delicious. The chef’s specialty risotto was an excellent choice!

This place has it all. Beautiful view of the harbor. Packed menu. Delicious food. Prompt service. The mussels in coconut milk with lime and ginger were a real stand out for me. Everyone around the table enjoyed their meal, from the generous helping of clams in the creamy chowder to the classic burger and fries. Great find in Booth Bay!
