Ann's Book Bistro

We moved here three years ago. This is the best food I have had in Damariscotta. If you don't try it, you are really missing out.

Second time proves it! This new restaurant is a gem! Another wonderful meal - fresh locally caught halibut with fennel for me and our table shared a perfectly seasoned seafood paella with local lobster and clams. A short well selected & priced wine list plus great friendly service and a quiet setting.

It's a sweet place! Chris makes great good. The burgers are great, the paella is fantastic! Nice beers on tap, too. Abby and Chris are gracious hosts. And the espresso is also excellent. Stop in and sit on the back patio, tap their free wifi and listen to music while you enjoy whatever fare you try!

Amazing new place just outside of town. Excellent Spanish influenced dishes including sangrias and paella. Great menu with specials rotating. Coffee bar was also excellent with real espresso drinks and baked goods. Chef Chris brings an incredible touch to everything. They're building a new front patio for great outdoor dining. Also, try the made to order iced tea with hand squeezed lemon in a huge cup!

I’m really excited about this new addition to the local food scene and just tried it out tonight for the first time. Very pleased! Salmon burger was excellent as was the bistro salad with quail eggs. I look forward to working my way through the varied menu!
