Our first time at Chrissy's today.. recommended to us by a friend and I am so glad!!.. quaint, clean simply delicious..the crabmelt was the best I have ever had..my bloody Mary was perfect and our server..Carole was sweet..very friendly..we also had the opportunity to meet the owner..just as friendly and didn't mind taking a minute to talk to us..
Unfortunately our experience ended sadly.
We had to witness an unbelievably rude man berade a young hostess for not getting him and the 3 other people he was with the table by the window..I've been in the restaurant business all my life and never seen anything like this before!!.. as we were leaving I felt the need to go over to the young lady and tell her how horrible I felt that she had to go through that..when I tapped her on the back and she turned around I saw she was crying..I mean sobbing!!.. I said to her you're not crying because a that man in the dining room are you? And of course she replied with a nod of her head yes.. I looked her in the eye and told her what I thought of that man and how we all watched him make a scene I told her not to let a human being like that get to her that way and she replied that we try to do the best we can here!.. I felt so bad for her tears came to my eyes and I told her that everyone there does a phenomenal job and the food is so delicious it doesn't matter where you sit!!!.. I gave her a quick hug and she said thank you and as I walked out the door it took everything in me to not go back into the dining room and tell that Man how he had hurt her feelings so badly that she was crying while still trying to do her job and that probably what he did to her today she will always remember!!.. I'd love to think that man somehow sees this review and knows that I am in fact speaking about him and his blatant disregard for humanity even if there was a mistake in the reservations it is not the end of the world and if that is the only thing that man has to worry about he's very fortunate the other three people in his party did not seem to be bothered at all about not getting that window seat.. like the old bumper sticker says " mean people suck"!!.. no one deserves to be treated the way that young girl was treated today it was otherwise a fabulous experience and we will definitely go back!!

We love sitting on the patio with our little papillon dog. The breakfasts and baked goods from the Barn Door Bakery are hearty and delicious. The service is warm and friendly as well as efficient.
