Very tasty. Steamed lobster, steamers outside at picnic table. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Very nice lobster rolls, you have a choice of butter or mayo. Lobster "stew" is better described as bisque, as it is not thick as one would except from a stew. However, it was tasty and had many lobster chunks. The dining room is cozy with local newspapers for visitors to read. It is a self busing restaurant, your pick and dispose of your plates yourself, where typically tipping would be lower, but you pay on a tablet held by a person where a form offers tipping options of 15, 20... So you kind of feel pushed into selecting one of those options. Not that I would not leave 15% but it just rubbed me the wrong way of how it was presented.

I bought 2 lobsters from Joe. He was very interesting to talk to--a very passionate lobsterman. I wish everyone loved their work as much as Joe does. He selected the two largest lobsters he had on hand and I was amazed at the low price. An hour later...steaming delicacy. Amazing what a couple of crustaceans, a boiling pot of salt water, some melted butter and a pile of napkins can do for one's attitude. Thanks Joe.
