We stayed one night...suite 7. The room was spacious and very clean. Comfy beds provided a good night's sleep. Lots of signs telling how to work things, we had no problems working the TV, heat, or anything else. Only negative about this room is that it's close to the kitchen so you hear a lot of door and ventilation noise while the restaurant is open. We were glad they closed at 9pm!

Great onsight restaurant!!!! Excellent food and service!!!! Karen or Sharon telling us to be quiet at 7pm was a downer but I guess that's the way she is. I heard the sheriff she was going to call doesn't care for her either. She's an excellent server at the restaurant just needs to chill. We were at the rented house.Place needs some major updates but it has good rustic charm. The food was excellent!!!!!

What an incredible place!!! We used it as a base to hike in Baxter State park (we skipped Khatadin and hike South Turner and Chimney instead) and then paddle on the lake for a day. The inn rents kayaks and there is an incredible waterway that has you gazing at Khatadin as you paddle (we forged two beaver dams and it was so worth it!). The lake has dozens of islands you can paddle to -- everything is available right off the dock. The breakfast is great and the folks who work there are simply wonderful. We also enjoyed the roof deck at the Trading Post next door - the pizza was fantastic and the leftovers made for great hiking lunch the next day. Can't recommend highly enough!

Such a lovely place with charming and unusual decor. It was the perfect comfort pad after we climbed Mt. Katadhin and camped for 2 days in the rustic Baxter State Park. Delicious food for dinner and breakfast, and the general store across the parking lot is incredible too. Such a sweet vibe.

We had a wonderful time in one of the suites. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, it was a continental breakfast, but they provided a hot dish, like french toast or a breakfast sandwich, that rotated by day. It was close to Baxter Park (about a 20 minute drive to the Togue gatehouse) so we explored the park by day and rested wonderfully by night. The restaurant and bar were also very good!
