Classic seaside restaurant on a picturesque estuary. Consistently quality seafood from lobster to scallops and back again, there really is something for every taste. A generous kids and seniors menu, along with quality craft beer offerings, makes this a great choice for family gatherings.
My husband and I loved eating here so much last time that while vacationing at Cape Cod we drove up to Maine for dinner one night. It has been two years since our first visit to Taste of Maine but this place stuck in our minds. My husband got the full lobster, and I love the lobster stew! Everyone is so nice, and looking around at all the souvenirs and the view made the trip worth it. I recommend this place if you love lobster or dessert! Or you just love Maine!
Four first timers. From the greeting at the door until we left stuffed, everything about our experience was awesome! Koree was a perfect waitress. Friendly, sweet, and on the ball. Two twin lobster dinners and two perfect prime rib dinners! My personal favorite was The Taste of Maine drink I had. Smooth and delicious! We were all extremely satisfied and happy. We will be back for sure!
Lobster! I ordered the world's largest lobster roll, not realizing just how big it was - enough for 4 people to eat! Other customers came over to take pictures. I had a lot of fun with it. My husband and I had lunch the next day from what I took home with me! Yummy and fun
We came here while on vacation because of a recommendation from a friend who used to live in Maine. I was not disappointed. The decor was a bit kooky, but it only added to the fun atmosphere. Another interesting bit was the live video feed of birds which had nested up high on a post. You can't miss this place, with the giant lobster on the roof. Definitely worth the visit if you're in the area!
