Great view here! We passed over the Lake St. George brewery for this one since the view seemed like it would be better, and it didn’t disappoint. The food was good, but be prepared for relatively greasy/heavy pub food. Good, but nothing overly healthy unless you want a salad (they were out of the gyro when we went due to the local farm supply of lamb being out). Great service, beautiful view, a cool find and definitely worth a bit of a drive.
Take a trip through the back roads of Mid-coast Maine to find this amazing watering hole. The panoramic views showing off the mountains of the sea are breathtaking. Grab yourself a flight or a pint of dark to light beer. The amazing BBQ, wood fired pizza oven, and down home cooking leaves delicious choices of food for everyone. In the few times we have been here checking in with facebook helps to see if its trivia night or a local band. We rated this a 5/5 for service, food, beer and entertainment.
Wonderful food and atmosphere and great beer. Wine and cider available too. Must go back on a clear day to check out the view.
Got a sample of all the bbq food. Wow it’s amazing! To full too eat it all. Brisket melted in my mouth! The pork fell right apart and the homemade bbq sauce is a little sweet and spicy. Nice homemade pickle relish as a side that goes well. Ribs have nice smoke rings and tasty. Not how I do mine but very delicious!
