The Happy Crab

We had a very enjoyable time dining out on the deck. The lobster bake was delicious and so much food for a reasonable price. Our server, Chrissy, was great. We will definitely come back to The Happy Crab the next time we're visiting Eastport.

The food was great. We ordered the lobster bake and it was enough for two persons without the fries. I didn't give it 5 stars because it took a while for our food to arrive. We watched one group leave because of the slow food service. The servers were great at keeping our drinks filled.

I would have given 5 stars because I had the BEST FRIED HADDOCK EVER!! It was Friday fried fish special but it was wonderful. I gave 4 starts because my husband ordered pizza and the crust was doughy instead of crisp. He said there was too much tomato sauce, too.

There were a lot of people, of course, it was Friday night. Took a while to get our meal, but we were not in a hurry.

I wish I had taken a picture of the haddock. I ordered it with crumbs and it was truly the best I've had. Haddock was also tasty and flaky. I'd definitely have it again and my husband said he would order it, too.

This is a festive port side restaurant in Eastport. The restaurant features dollar bills hanging from the ceilings and walls. While not unique, it is impressive just how many the restaurant has on display.

There is a lot of fried food, so if that is your taste you will likely enjoy this venue. Service as friendly and quick and they offer several different beers on tap. It is also a good place if you enjoy friend clams. Very casual and fun atmosphere with some outside seating.
