WaCo Diner

Great diner in an awesome location. Lunch was good but the Bloody Mary was even better. Got the Carrot Cake to go. It was HUGE and the best I've ever had.

Michael & co. hosted a surprise engagement dinner for about 50 friends and family following a fantastic proposal on a lobster boat. It was late-July, so weather could not have been better as we filled the spacious deck area and back Schooner Room. They graciously opened for dinner on a night they were not usually open. the WaCo offered a special, smaller dinner menu with all the Downeast staples from lobster rolls and scallops and also regular fare like a pasta and chicken option. Everything was amazing and we cannot thank the entire WaCo crew enough! It was the perfect evening to a special day in our lives, and the WaCo presented the space to share with our closest friends and family. They were incredibly easy to work with, were open to suggestions on the menu offerings, were flexible with timing, and even stayed a little later than expected because everyone was having such a great time. Highly recommend...and everyone truly enjoyed their meals/appetizers/drinks. Thank you, WaCo!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We are visiting from out of state and chose this diner because it looked like the food was good and honestly was one of the few places open. It did not disappoint! The waitress was really sweet and even gave suggestions on places to explore. The French toast was amazing and if you’re looking for a small town restaurant with a home feel, this is is. I’d love to return if ever in the area again.
