“Such great owners. The Columbia Falls General Store is such a great small town store. The hospitality is the true small town feel. They care about the products they carry. From hand made knifes to handmade guitars and wooden toys the skill level from the local talents are truly amazing. The food is great, I try and get lunch there once a week because the food is so great. “Cute little restaurant right off the Downeast Sunrise Trails. We stopped in as a small group in need of food, and wasn't disappointed. Tip: if you get the streak and cheese sandwich, the small is HUGE. So unless you've got a heck of an appetite, I'd suggest getting the small. Fries were extremely fresh and hot, and the sandwich was great. Will be going again.”

“Great Pizza! The wood fired oven gives it a great flavor and your pizza is ready about 5 minutes after you put your order in unless they are packed. Very clean place. Owners generally wait on you themselves and are very nice. Nice little sitting area if you want to eat it there. Nice little spot to eat or just to wait while your order is being cooked.”

“This take-out restaurant is a welcome addition to Steuben. It's right on the border between Milbridge and Steuben. It's set back from US1 a bit and easy to miss if you're not looking for it! We went to The Meadows for lunch after a day of exploring Petit Manan Wildlife Sanctuary. When I think of take-out, Portuguese doesn't necessarily come to mind but the food was great. I had the haddock burger - fresh and delicious! We shared the Fried Key Lime Pie for dessert. Like many Down East restaurants, it is seasonal - roughly open from May- October. Definitely check it out!”
