Amato's

Not bad, it has been a long time since I have eaten at this restaurant. All things considered it's decent.

Sandwiches are great but we stop here as well to buy pickles to bring home!

I go to Amato's at least 3 times a week. I always get a Ham Italian with Swiss, all veggies, salt and pepper, no oil, half ham, half cheese. It's easily the best 6 dollar sandwich you can get anywhere. But not all Amaot's know what I'm talking about when I describe my order and often give me more ham and cheese than I want. But when i go into this Amato's in biddeford, they know exactly what I want, get it right every time, and know my name and order to the point that sometimes they start making it before I even order. By far the best Amato's in Maine.

I go to Amato's when I want a really good Italian sub ????????. I'm sure there other food is good but I've never tried is cause their Italian sub is that good. I love the bread, the large freshly cut tomatoes ???? (they literally cut it from the tomato onto your sub as they make it) and other high quality ingredients. The staff are friendly enough. That sandwich I got yesterday really hit the spot after 3 hours of divorce mediation. ✔

Typical Amatos. If you have never been try the pickles, they are sour and delicious. $5 gets you a very good classic Italian sub. If you aren't going to eat it right away ask for the oil on the side.
