“Food was AMAZING!!! Food was fresh, and authentic. Atmosphere was fun. Service was ok, people were nice but busy and not enough staff (sign of the times). As long as you aren't in a hurry this was such a great place to go. The old owners kept it dark, this place is bright and vibrant and again, the food was simply amazing. They had one waiter, one person bringing food out and a bartender. Hard to get help so even though they were short staffed they did pretty good and kept a positive attitude while serving. Honestly I can't wait to go back.”

“This is the ONLY place I've had a lobster roll. They are delicious. Made on a 12" sub roll which is soft & fresh. I've only had the original there and that fills me up. They have about 5 more sizes meaning more meat. The Italians are awesome also. All the veg tasted fresh made on the same roll. I would highly recommend Pool Street Market. “The best $180 I ever spent on lunch. We got a few lobsters and lobster rolls, a pint of chowder, onion rings, and a bottle of water. I would have spent more but thankfully, I saw the sign that informed me that even if I bought a bottle of wine, I wouldn't be able to drink it in the back yard which looks out on the "pool" due to the alcoholic beverage restrictions. If you want to hang with the quality, and have a few hundred bucks to spare, this is a great place for lunch! The portions were all very modest too - so no fear of getting fat!”

The place had a nice dining area and clean restrooms. Our server was friendly and he gave good service. “Really delicious. The crab Rangoon was full of crab (more than any other place we've been) and delicious. Mango curry was dreamy. Drinks were fabulous. Only downside of the whole meal was the Pad Thai was a bit heavy for my taste. Edit: Downgrading one star for consistency. We took a friend there recently because we had liked it so much and all of the meat was overcooked, the fried rice flavorless, and the sauce on another dish WAY too sweet. It was our first negative experience so there may be some inconsistency in the kitchen staff. Presentation was still beautiful but flavor lacking.”

“I had a delious egg, sausage on a biscuit. The biscuit was delicate, sweet and crumbly but held together as I eat it. The sausage was soft and flavorful. It has all seasoned with just enough black pepper. Counter service was pleasant and clean up some of our plates. Bravo”
