The food here tastes like a grandmother made for you in her kitchen with enormous love and freshest ingredients. This is not an understatement. I’ve eaten in major food cities in the US and even Istanbul, and Layalina has THE BEST falafel I have ever experienced. Don’t walk, run to come try it!!

Really delicious! The lentil soup is vegan and was so good I had to order more to take home and enjoy later. Very friendly staff and a nice eat in environment.

Beef Shawarma sandwich with garlic sauce was just about perfect. Clean, well lit, and with an excellent selection of sodas, drinks and treats from all over. The staff is super friendly, and the prices are great. Awesome addition to Main Street.

Excellent, reasonably priced, authentic Middle Eastern food. Shawarma sandwich (beef) wrap was stellar. I went with the hot sauce. Nice family and excellent service as well. Can’t wait to go back. No I was not paid for this rating and not related. Just a local Mainer that likes food from elsewhere.

Happened to walk by during their grand opening weekend. Really great food, at great prices. Super nice and friendly staff. The shawarma was *so* good! Will definitely be returning soon!
