I would really really like to give this place more stars- the food was really good. We had two appetizers, a draft beer and a cocktail. The food: Tomato Carpaccio.. the mozzarella and olive oil were excellent- tomatoes were basic, nothing special and the plating was completely boring and lacked any imagination whatsoever... dish was good but not next level. The Shrimp Toast... definitely next level- so delicious, beautifully toasted sourdough with avocado and a tomato, dill, radish bruschetta topped with plump- perfectly cooked shrimp. The only issue is it was literally one piece of toast for $24... we were not upstairs... we were bellied up the bar downstairs with barely enough room to turn around. The cocktail was so forgettable that all I can remember is that it was very sweet and totally flat. Some kind of lemon, gin situation that was supposed to have tonic or ginger beer or something- it was too sweet and not remotely interesting. The beer was exactly what was expected and enjoyable. All in all, it was like $85 before tip. I have no problem spending a good amount of money on an experience but this just was not it. There are just way too many places in this area that deliver on all points- this place just doesn't deliver, in my opinion.

We were disappointed that the menu is the same as Ultramar - expensive, formal. Not suited to the downstairs location and reinforced how much we miss The Ramp. Great service did not make up for spending $240 (before tip) on an appetizer and salad, and one glass of wine/beer, for four people. Nothing I had was bad (my friend said the Caesar was terrible and his mussels were undercooked) but nothing was noteworthy. My dining companions said my 3 stars were generous.

Another win by Chef German Lucarelli! We love the new updated look. Very refreshing and more modern vibe. The food was superb. Maine oysters cannot be beat. Try the grilled octopus and the fish empanadas. Shout out to Robin behind the bar! She did a fantastic job. Loved the sparkling rose with elderflower. Stunning location with beautiful views. A must visit.

This used to he The Ramp. Memorabilia and cave like atmosphere (which had its own subtle charm) has been replaced by a very inviting, open dining and bar area. We had a late lunch. Interesting menu options like lobster spaghetti were offered with more expected dishes like crab cakes and lobster rolls. My crab cakes were very good (more aioli please) fries were ok (not very crispy but still good). Service was excellent! My only complaint, the salads were so over salted they were inedible. Too bad, too, because they would have been delicious otherwise.

We couldn’t have been happier with our first (definitely not last) visit since the the new owner took over. First, the place is beautiful and a vast improvement over the old Ramp, memorabilia not withstanding. Secondly and more importantly, the food was fresh and delicious. I had the lobster roll and my friend had the mahi sandwich. We argued over which was better but ultimately, both were equally outstanding. Lastly, the service was warm and welcoming, which any locals know is a most refreshing change. Great job, German and co and welcome (again) to the neighborhood!
