Beachmere Inn

This was definitely a great place to stay. The view of the Ocean was incredible. The Marginal Way path is right near the hotel for a nice walk towards the shops, and right along the ocean. It's a very relaxing environment.

My husband and I planned a trip to New Hampshire in late August early September. We decided to extend our vacation by visiting Maine. My husbands cousin suggested the Beachmere in Orgunquit as she has stayed here many times and just loves the hotel. We arrived at the Beachmere at 11:00am and decided by chance to check if our room might be ready. The receptionist couldn’t have been nicer and accommodating. We were thrilled that our room was ready, and we were able to check in so early. We were blown away at the view we had overlooking the lawn and of the beach. The hotel itself is so quant and homey. Every worker that we encountered was so friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. We enjoyed our walk on Marginal Way and luckily the weather was perfect. I also enjoyed The lobster roll that I had at The Bistro. I will be recommending The Beachmere to all my family and friends, and cannot wait until we have the opportunity to visit again!!

Arrived and got the room. Very disappointed. I did not read anything about the room as I went on a friend’s recommendation. Room 37. Stay away. My wife’s closet is almost as big. No sink in bathroom. You need to leave your room to go on to your deck. Not happy. I voiced my displeasure with someone at the front desk as when I made this reservation the bathroom, the deck, how small the room was was never touched upon. More to come

So I am adding to this review, it’s been a while. The owner was extremely gracious and pleasant. I received a diner voucher and was very pleased with the stay as a whole. As I said. Stay away from room 37 but I will most certainly return to the Beachmere resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay in an ocean front room (217).
The view & weather were idyllic.
The bed was super comfortable.
The room was quiet & clean.
The staff is very courteous & friendly & everyone makes you feel warmly welcomed with a genuine smile.
Our sincere compliments to the management. You are doing everything right.
And we look forward to returning!
