Can't begin to tell you how much fun this place is! From the great food to 4 hours of singing along at the piano bar. He never took a break!
If I could give The Front Porch 100 stars, I would. Scott and his staff are extraordinarily attentive, friendly and accommodating, we always feel so welcomed. Our crew of six come to Ogt. every August and spend a lot of time at the Piano bar upstairs. The music, drinks and company combined make for such a fun way to kick off our evening. This past trip was our first dining experience and they did not disappoint! We started off in the bar where we were promptly greeted and served, the bartender never missed a beat (their frozen Cosmo is deliciously dangerous, I highly recommend). We were sat in a beautifully decorated dining room, the ambiance was the perfect balance of intimate and sociable. Our server, Jeffery was enthusiastic and attentive. Our table enjoyed every single bite of the multiple courses we were served. I had the crowd pleasing Lobster Risotto, which exceeded its fabulous reputation. Scott continuously came around to check in on our party, which was much appreciated. It's rare to see an owner be so interactive with their employees and patrons, it was extremely impressive and made such an impression on everyone. It's clear that The Front Porch is not only a great place to visit, but an enjoyable place to work as well. Thank you Front Porch for every experience, we look forward to many more!
Amazing place to hang out. The food is superb and the service is excellent. It's usually crowded but it's a great place to interact with people and make new friends. Our bartender for the evening, a gentleman by the name of Matt, concocted the best espresso martini I've ever had, and he's a cool dude too. Highly recommend stopping in for a visit.
Recently visited The Front Porch the beginning of July with 2 other friends and WHAT A FUN PLACE!! We went to the piano bar upstairs and were entertained for hours, didn’t want to leave the music was so Good! The staff was so welcoming, friendly and attentive we returned the next night for dinner! A lot of attention to detail by the chef who prepared our meals made for a delicious Foodie Experience! The decor was very tasteful, a beautiful gray and white palette with an original mural going up the stairs, telling the history of this wonderful venue. Looking forward to visiting again and highly recommend it for anyone that enjoys listening to live music!
We had a great time here years ago, and always planned to return. The piano player for the early set (until 7) was the same retainer we had enjoyed years earlier, and still very entertaining. The second piano player was not nearly as good and his performance of piano bar standards was not to the level we expected at this venue. The room was extremely crowded, noisy, and hot. Given the raucous crowd, the service was good, and the bartenders were working hard. We were a bit disappointed.
