The Shack

Great food, friendly service and nice ambiance upstairs on the deck. We tried the lobster, fried lobster roll, crab cakes and fish tacos. All were delicious! French fries were also really good. The lobster definitely had better flavor than other places we have tried and waitress said it’s brought in fresh daily.

The Shack is THE hidden gem of Old Orchard!! We have been coming here for four years and just found this restaurant this year. The lobster meat is so sweet and the scallops BLT is out of this world! Order a spicy margarita with peppers and you won’t regret it! Food is great as well as the service!

If you go nowhere else while staying in OOB, you need to go to The Shack for at least one meal. The food is SUPERB. Extremely fresh ingredients, and taste combinations that will blow your taste buds away. To top it off, the prices are extremely reasonable for the portions and quality of the food. HIGHLY recommended!

Visited the shack with a large group and we are so glad we did. Many seafood options on the menu for everyone to choose from as well as a kids menu. Lobster rolls are stuffed with fresh meat and they offer two steamed lobsters which can be shared without a plate charge! Busy but worth the wait and very accommodating. Friendly waitress and greeter!

I can throw a rock and hit 5 lobster spots, but this one is amazing. Lobster roll is all claw and knuckle meat. Very generous portions. Just a hint of mayo. Perfection.
