While traveling along the coast I decided to give Bull N' Claw a try. I've seen the TV commercials and was always curious. We were seated very fast and the menu was all encompassing. There was beef and seafood as standard fare. I was pleasantly surprised that they had pasta dishes, a turkey dinner, and many more choices. One nice surprise was the Salad/Soup Bar! It sits in a little cute boat. The best part -> Clean, very well stocked, and extensive. I saw several people cleaning and stocking it every 5 minutes or so minutes. Our server was Amanda and she was great! She checked in just enough so we felt cared for but not pestered. She was just an over all stunning person. The Restaurant, itself, is decorated with some cabin/home type decor with big wide floorboards. The lighting is mild and warm. (not the, "We're hiding something." dark lighting.) LOL We had the Turkey Dinner and the Chicken Parmesan. (tasty dinner rolls were given when we sat down) Both were delicious, served hot, and were plated nicely. We left feeling good about the experience. I always forget to take photos of my food ... until I've eaten half. Thank you Bull N' Claw for delivering a nice, relaxing, great meal with a great staff.
Spending a majority of my youth vacations in the Wells area, I've always had fond memories of this place. After 10+ years it's just as good as I always remembered. Friendly and attentive staff, simple but clean digs, and 10/10 food. Classic marine inspired American fare and competitive prices. If you're in the area, don't neglect the Bull N' Claw.
The Hubby & I ate there on July 31, 2019. Best stuffed lobster I have ever had especially for the price. New England Clam Chowder was soo flavorful. Our waitress Kim was amazing. Will definitely recommend & eat again on our next visit to Wells.
Friendly staff , sort of homey selections. Nice brunch on Sunday mornings. Good for feeding the weekend crowd. From cereal for the little guys or the omelet bar for the hard to please.
I've been here several times and it never disappoints. The lobster stew is so delicious has massive chunks of lobster. I had scallops and my sister got fried seafood. Love this place. A little pricey, but worth it.
