“I ordered the new 2 waffle box Chicken and Waffles that they just started and it was delicious. The only problem I had with my visit is that they were very short-staffed and it must have took 10 to 15 minutes before I got to place my order and then another 5 to 10 before I got my food and was able to leave. The man who waited on me was very courteous for being one of the only ones working, and I was very pleased that he was apologetic, and had a nice demeanor. He was very professional, even though he was having a very bad day at work.”

“The "New" Poplar Inn is nice. A beautiful dining area, a huge Bar(separated from the dining) and a well stocked package goods area. The dining atmosphere was nice. Well decorated for Valentine's Day! The food was Fabulous. Twin crab cake platter was great! Seasoned just right with very little filler. Crab soup.....Yummy! They offered chocolate covered strawberries free for dessert. What a nice touch. I had carrot cake...OMG! portion size seemed like a half-a-cake. Very nice upgrade to an ole favorite!????”

“I came here with my family while in town from Florida, and the food was amazing. Squires has the best lasagna I've had in a while, the portions are huge, the waitresses are super friendly and go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied, and the place is clean. I had the potatoes and string beans, pizza, lasagna, bread, etc. And it was all very good. I wish I lived closer, because I'd be in here eating all the time!”
