First issue, you have to be buzzed in to get in the building...so you didn't even try. “My husband & I have been eating @ Pizza Boli's for about 13 years. We have tried multiple food items here. The food is always fresh & hot when it arrives to us. The prices are reasonable. IF,& I repeat IF, by CHANCE your food is not hot, not the correct food you ordered, etc, etc they will happily correct it, or give you a credit towards your next order or refund your money. Whichever you the customer prefers. So far everybody we recommended to order from Pizza Boli's, they loved it. They loved it so much, they recommend other's to order from there. There is no other great tasting pizza like this. Trust us we've tried other's!! We'll stay with Pizza Boli's here in Essex.”

“The food is great and the counter service is reminiscent of the diners of the 60s. My party was not happy with the table server in our area. We noticed how she went to every, literally every table in our area to speak and offer a bit of extra service, but ours. In doing so, she had to pass our table at least 20 times. We served ourselves. We got our own plates and utensils. The restaurant was not very crowded, but our section was full, so we tried to be understanding. Even after we finished our meal and sat for a while, nothing. We finally asked the lady for a box and why she seemed to purposely ignore us. She said that it looked like we had all that we needed. Although we are an African American couple, I don't want to feel that this incident was about race. Again, the food was great, but I don't go where I don't feel welcomed. I would hope that others get equal service. I will go elsewhere.”
