You know a restaurant has good word of mouth when it is consistently busy in spite of being hidden from the street and essentially disguised as a UHaul office.
I recommend the kabobs and the soup rotation.
Great gem in Cockeysville for lunch only. Amazing soups, salads, sandwiches, and so much more. Like eating in your relatives home.
This restaurant is very welcoming. You can just feel the warmth and coziness of this family owned business. The menu offers something for everyone. My personal favorite is the shrimp/chicken kabobs. They are delicious and are served over saffron rice with your choice of hot, mild, or no seasonings. The restaurant is divided into several small rooms that all invite intimate conversations. This restaurant is a hidden treasure in Cockeysville.
Great lunchtime spot! Unassuming location, truly down a side street but once you're inside you learn the exterior truly belies the warm artful restaurant with friendly family run staff and a nice variety of food. I myself got the reuben sandwich which was plenty good, but others were getting the kebab platters, a family specialty apparently, and they looked amazing. Will be returning just for that.
Food was great. I had the kabob combo (chicken and beef). I suggest getting it made spicy.
Only thing to watch out for is the soda refills are not free.
I noticed that they have many regular customers which they greet by name, which is awesome. Very nice and polite staff that make you feel welcome.
Highly recommend eating here for lunch.
