I was in town visiting from Florida. My daughter and I decided to eat here based on the reviews. We were not disappointed. Upon entering the restaurant, we were promptly welcomed by a lovely gentleman and given menus to look at while we waited. Within 10 minutes, we were seated. Our server greeted us promptly. We started with crab fritters and hush puppies. They were perfectly fried and delicious! I had the "wedge" salad and a bowl of cream of crab soup. My daughter had the crab cakes with rice pilaf and steamed broccoli. Everything was excellent. The cream of crab soup was amazing with good sized chunks of crab meat and a pleasant (not to seafoody) taste. Our server was attentive and nice. The restaurant was clean and bright. You should definitely visit this restaurant if you are in downtown Baltimore.
I'm no stranger to this restaurant! It has always delivered quality food, service, and atmosphere. I always look forward to my next visit and nee dishes to try.
Had a wonderful meal there tonight during Baltimore's Restaurant Week. The crab cake was large and NO filler was evident even though it must have had some. The octopus appetizer was heavenly. The wait staff was highly attentive. Loved it
