I had an okay time here at Captain James Crabhouse. It isn't a big restaruant and I could barely hear what my friend was saying because of how loud it was in there. She kind of had to shout in order to be heard. The tables and chairs are very close together. There isn't any privacy to have a conversation. I know that seafood is expensive but it seemed to be a little more on the high end. Glad that parking was right across the street and free.
Pretty yummy crabs! The all you can eat bucket was definitely worth it. However the fishbowl punch was overpriced and didn't even have the gummy fish in it! Very disappointing. But the food was excellent.
Delicious! Crabs were so fresh and tasty. Oysters were nice and chilled. We had an awesome view right by the water. Can't wait to go back!
Our server was very attentive. We sat out on the patio even though it was raining. It still felt great outside and it's covered so we didn't get wet. Our party of five cleaned up a dozen jumbo crabs. There are 4 different sizes to choose from. The corn on the cob, fries, chowder were all delicious. The menu is laid out like a newspaper so it's a bit confusing to read at first. Private lot for parking. Don't get the crab house confused with the restaurant across the street. The crabhouse strictly focuses on crabs. Would definitely recommend. Yum!
