Golden West Cafe

Golden West is the perfect little cafe. I think the decor was appealing but I couldn't swear to it because the remarkable assets were indisputably the food and the friendly, efficient staff. I had my first banh mi soft taco, which was amazing. My vegan friend was nuts over the cauliflower "wings" and we had all had the best bloody Mary's ever!

Good atmosphere, nice and attentive server. Food was a good balance for all (omnivore, vegetarian, vegan) and when they say spicy, they mean spicy! Did not try the special cocktails or the sweet potato fries, so we will have to go back another time.

The food was very good. Nicely cooked burger, good fries.
Service at the bar was good and attentive.
We didn't sit at the bar, but at a table.
For a place that is vegan friendly, there are a lot of animal heads on the wall. Don't take them down though. The West wasn't won eating celery. Well. Maybe it was. Have to look that up.
The bartender/waitress looked at me like I was an idiot.
I do not dispute this.

We got the Elvis pancakes and the French toast. Both were super delicious. I can't wait to go back and try another item on list, or just eat pancakes again. The Chile cheese fries were good, but really spicy, in my opinion; still really delicious, just a tad spicy for my liking. Nice beer can, bottle, and draft selection.

Great service and food. I love how diverse the menu is, you can really find something for anyone. As a big breakfast fan, I also appreciate that they serve breakfast all day. The drink selection is good and has a lot of local beer. Can't say enough nice things about this place.
