Being that we were in the area we decided to try two of our favorites at the same time. BBQ and whiskey. To say the least we weren't disappointed. Between their sauces, sides, and pulled pork, ribs all were great selections. They have a wide variety of whiskeys to choose from, so whatever is your fancy you'll find what you're looking for. If they have a batch of their "muzzle punch" you should definitely order it. Thank me later. We surely will be making a specific trip back.

Excellent BBQ restaurant right in Hampden. Love the outdoor area as an option. Food is terrific. Fast and friendly service.

Been going here since the first weeks it opened and they've matured so nicely. Chef that used to be at Brewer's made this his pet project and they're doing great. So proud they found their niche and stay on top of a short but well-planned menu. Outdoor seating is lovely.

We love Blue Pit as a restaurant and bar, however they did an even better job as the caterer for our wedding! We considered BBQ for our wedding meal because it's good and also more affordable than some of the other food types. We also wanted to support our local Baltimore community, so we made an appointment to talk with Cara at Blue Pit. We only met with two other companies before our visit, and knew after talking to Cara that this was our perfect fit. Cara was so down to earth and easy to bounce ideas off of for the day-of. Anytime I had a question, her response was prompt and thoughtful. We needed an extra something here? No big deal, they got us. Concerns about this? Don't worry about it, we'll figure it out. Coffee? Yep. I think the exact words used were "we've got an industrial coffee maker that can service all of Ellicott City!" This extra service added AFTER we already signed a contract, by the way. Photo booth? Oh we've got one of those... When we discussed signature cocktails (which includes a large selection of craft beer, fresh squeezed juices, and house-made syrups) we came into the restaurant to try different drinks--1) they were all ears to hear what we wanted most and 2) the cocktails were unique and freaking DELICIOUS. For our day-of, the staff was so much fun and super friendly. There were two bartenders to take care of all of our guests who were wonderful. And I've lost count of how many people commented on how amazing the food and drinks were after the wedding (I believe the biggest raves were about the brisket, vinegar-style coleslaw, and home-made sauces). THE BEST.
